Additional fundraisers include a movie at Empire Cinemas in Brewster on April 7th, numerous bake sales including Kobackers in Brewster on May 5th, and the selling of raffle tickets. He is feeling good, playing baseball and basketball and ready to start fundraising again! This year promises to be even bigger for Team ZACC ATTACK as they participate in their second Relay for Life event on June 1st! Fundraising begins on March 31st with a bowling event at Spins Bowl in Carmel. Thankfully Zachary is now cancer free, back to school as an 8th grader and currently continuing maintenance treatment for his leukemia. Last June Zachary and Team ZACC ATTACK participated in its first Relay for Life in Brewster and was the second highest contributing team at the relay, raising over $11,000 for the American Cancer Society! Despite this, he continued to play baseball when able and even went to Cooperstown to play with his travel baseball team in a tournament over the summer! Zachary went on to receive intensive chemotherapy treatments for 8 months after being diagnosed. He had a vision for the logo which included a basketball, baseball bats, baseball and hockey sticks since he is an avid sports fan who loves playing baseball, football and basketball.

He created ZACC ATTACK (Zach Attacks Childhood Cancer) and even designed his own logo. Not long after being diagnosed with leukemia in February of 2018, Brewster 12 year old, Zachary Schwartz, decided he wanted to start a fundraiser for children diagnosed with cancer.
